Studio Meta, as Mark mentioned check the file permissions. Make sure it’s at least 665.

moogaloo, it had crossed my mind to handle ajax requests. I’m just trying to think of what needs to be done. Would it be enough to add another settings option to define a template for ajax requests? Or would the extension need to detect if it’s an ajax request and do something different? I think most of the work would need to be done on the form submission side to cancel the submit and send it to an ajax request instead. Anyway, yeah, this is worth looking into, but just a matter of finding the best approach.

Excellent. Will keep this in mind.

Oh, and line #456 of the extension says:

$addons['Redeemer'] = $this->version;

Some overzealous copy/paste action, there? 😉

Thanks for this excellent extension. It was sorely needed.

FYI, this will be the first of my add-ons I convert to EE2. I’d like to have it out by the end of Feb. It honestly shouldn’t take that long, but I want to give myself some padding 😉

The extension requires no core hacks. The alpha/beta versions did, but thanks to Nathan Pitman (Nine Four), we don’t need a core hack anymore.

Glad to have been able to help. Did you sort a solution RE this playing nice with the forum module? 😊

Yeah, it seems to play nice with the forum module. The only way I tested it though was with the {exp:forum} tag inside a normal template. I have not tested it the default way though.

Update: I’ve started converting this to EE2. Should be done by the end of the week. While a fairly simple conversion, I only get little snippets of time here and there to work on such things.

I thought you’d appreciate to know that your extension doesn’t play nice with the System Offline extension - http://expressionengine.com/downloads/details/system_offline/

Otherwise it’s a great add-on.

It would be super useful to be able to run the offline speciality template through regular templates too. Is there any reason you didn’t tackle this?

That is good to know, thanks for pointing it out. I’ll be sure to tie it in if at all possible.

Just uploaded 1.1 which avoids the conflict with the System Offline Extension.

The EE 2.0 version will be released Feb 3rd or 4th. It’s working… just want to double check some stuff before releasing it.

Just out of curiosity, are the update notices appearing on your control panel home pages? It worked for me in an early dev version, but it appears to have broken at some point. I just want to confirm it’s not just me before I look into it.
