Is it possible to update a Freeform entry status through the freeform:entries tag?

Hello,

I have a form set up with Freeform, and a ‘backend’ page set up on the website for displaying a list of those entries, using the freeform:entries tags.

What I’d like to to is have the entry status listed on that page (open/closed), in a pulldown format with a submit button that would allow the person viewing that page to change the status of the form entry (without having to go into the EE control panel) - is this possible? And if possible, any help to get going in the right direction would be supremely appreciated!!
