vCard3 Troubles

I’m using Max Lazar’s excellent vCard3 plugin to generate vCards, but I’m having trouble getting them to work in <sarcasm>the best browser ever</sarcasm>, IE. They are working great in Firefox, but IE chokes on the url.

The plugin is in it’s own template, linked from a bio page. Here is an example bio page (the vCard link is off right now since it isn’t working) https://www.steelestreet.com/index.php/about/officers/matthew-j-baldner/ and there will be a link on that page to https://www.steelestreet.com/index.php/site/vcard/60 - this is where it chokes. In Firefox I get the download dialog with the correctly named vcard file, but it IE it says “Unable to download 60 from www.steelestreet.com. Unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.”

I’ve added a “AddType text/x-vcard .vcf” line to the site .htaccess file also, but that hasn’t helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
