Hi again John,
I have another observation that you might want to know about. In addition to the blank white screen after making changes to Seesaw settings, I also get a white screen upon trying to logging out of the CP. The logout process is often not successful. I’m running a fair number of add-ons so I don’t know the culprit or combination of factors. Regardless, just disabling Seesaw fixes the logout issue. A shame too, as I’ve grown attached to the idea of having more useful columns on the edit entries pages! But I’m on deadline and don’t have time to isolate the problem.
I look forward to your continued efforts and thanks again for developing what will be, no doubt, a very handy add-on for me.
Seesaw is great — be great if this can play nicely with Edit Table Plus or vice versa.
I can’t get this to to work–the settings refuse to save so nothing happens. It’s for 1.6.8, right or am I being dense? It’s enabled and creates tables in the database and yet, got nothing. Am bummed…started drooling a little when I saw this extension.
ExpressionEngine 1.6.8 Build: 20100121
PHP version 4.3.8 MySQL version 3.23.58
Extensions: Remove “My Account” Tab Publish Page Improvements

Hi municipal,
I believe it’s the PHP version that’s the culprit - I’ve just tested locally with PHP4 and yes, settings don’t get saved.
I’ll see what I can figure out, though I can’t promise much, my brain has been in PHP5-only mode for years…
Cheers
Is thirteen minutes a new record? Thanks for the fix. It works! (Although I couldn’t get the custom html function to do its thing). And now for the bad news (for me, not you)…I was really looking for it to do its magic without needing to be triggered first by any filtering. Like, picture having a client who only has access to one blog/channel. So when they hit the Edit Screen, there isn’t any reason for them to filter anything–I just wanted them to see the customized interface right off the bat. And yeah, I just realized how lame that sounds…most people have more than one blog so the filtering mechanism makes perfect sense. Oh poo! But thanks again for this…perhaps some day I will get normal clients!

That isn’t so crazy, it’s just not something I’ve thought of before. 😉 And actually it eludes to another quirk I’ve noticed - if there is only one weblog created, the edit screen won’t allow the user to filter to that one weblog (obviously), and hence all of Seesaw’s weblog-specific settings are ignored. Harumph.
I’ll look into this one as well, but definitely do not check back in 13 minutes. 😉
Another very cool thing would be to add the functionality of NB Show Categories (or at least get it to play nicely with that extension).
Hmm, I’ve just installed the Show Categories plugin (this one: http://ninefour.co.uk/labs/show-categories/), and they do not appear to conflict. Or at least, I’ve installed them side-by-side on different EE installs, and all’s well. What is it you’re seeing go awry?
Cheers
