Hi,

has anyone tried both of these for multilingual sites?

http://www.putyourlightson.net/projects/multi_language

http://leevigraham.com/cms-customisation/expressionengine/lg-multi-language/

What is the main difference? I know it is unfair to ask a question like this but which one would you reccomend?

Best

I’ve not tried Leevi’s solution (he does make good extensions) but I have tried the PutYourLightsOn solution and it worked for me perfectly in on a recent site. And for anyone playing with that link now, no - I did not have much to say about the design, but I am very happy with the functionality.

The module is easy to install, has a nice tag-swapping feature set and the logic to handle the conditional arguments is loose enough that I could use it virtually anywhere without added PHP of JS. Also, the programmer Ben is very good about tech support; I’ve gotten a response in the next day, and he’s worked through issues with me thoroughly. I’m a really happy camper.
