Tinybrowser not working all of a sudden

Development and Programming

I’m using Tinybrowser with TinyMCE and it seems that all of a sudden my Tiny Browser window is now just a blank white screen when I click the browse icon.

My client reports that this happened after attempting to upload a large file and it never recovered, but no server changes have been made (that I am aware of, of course), and I’ve restarted the server.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Brandon

Hi, Brandon. TinyMCE and Tinybrowser are both third party add-ons. We don’t offer direct support for them.

I can offer general advice, though.

Clear your /system/cache files via FTP manually, leaving only only the index.html file.

Does that help?

Sue,

I understand about the support. Unfortunately that did not work for me. Still a blank screen after clearing /system/cache files and restarting.

Check the upload folder – the large file which was upload, is it here? It possible, that the TinyBrowser was uploaded file but after that script try to create a thumb and failed by not enough memory or max_execution_time. When you open TB windows again, first what TB doing – is check all thumbs and tried to create the new one. So, if the large file in folder, remove it. If it helps - increase memory_limit / max_execution_time.

Found large file. Removed large file. Increased memory_limit. All is well again.

Thanks Max!
