Playa custom field running slow in IE

I have a custom field using Brandon Kelly’s playa2.

It is relating to one weblog that has 150+ entries.

It is running slow in IE, do you think it has to do w/ the amount of items within that weblog?

Is there a way to speed it up?

It runs quicker in Firefox.
