Hi,
This is a long overdue update of my 2007 plugin. Now, as an extension it can enable the pane both on templates and/or within the control panel if you are logged in as a Super Admin.
Once installed you can choose whether to display the pane in the CP, in the templates or in both. If you wish to use it on templates then just add the tag
{exp:pur_developer}to the bottom of your templates and enable template view in the settings. The tag can be safely left since you are able to switch the pane off when not required.
Cheers

Edited to update the zip to version 1.2.1 This version allows you to disable any/all of the data tables if required. This should make the extension more usable on sites that are heavily populated.
Hi Tori,
Opening the links in new tabs or windows was a design decision and is part of the extension. My rationale being that if was working on a template for example I’d want to be able to say check and then modify a custom field without leaving the current work. Does this behaviour make it difficult for you to use?
Cheers
Greg
Oh I see. That makes sense. I guess what was happening with me is I was just continuing to use it as if I wasn’t in a new window so eventually I ended up with a large number of tabs open. It’s not a big deal, I just thought perhaps there was a setting that would change that. I totally get what you are saying though. I will just have to keep in mind that it’s opening a new tab. Sometimes I don’t even notice that another tab has opened!
This is pretty sweet! I wish I knew about this before I did my toolbar work. Great extension Greg!
