Ngen File Field Error

I have a site that has been running Fieldframe and Ngen File Field without issue. I have recently updated both to the current versions, (1.33 and 0.9.1 respectively) and am now getting this error in the publish window when publishing to a weblog that has this field defined:

Notice: Undefined index: extension in /OURPATH/manage/extensions/fieldtypes/ngen_file_field/ft.ngen_file_field.php on line 824

Any thoughts as to what would cause this and how to fix?

Mod Edit: Moved to the Extensions: Discussion and Questions Forum

I should also mention that this shows up 4 times at the top of the page.

This means, you have four files without extension in your upload directory…

It happens in every directory that I try to upload to. I just checked a few of the directories out on the server and there are no files without extensions.

OK, let me rephrase it. This notice pops up if there are files in your upload directory on which PHP’s pathinfo()-function fails to determine an extension.
