Plugin: URI Prettify

Hey EE gang, i just whipped up a little plugin for a situation i was in and decided to release it in case someone could use it. In essence, it takes filename/uri segment strings and makes them “pretty”. For example, monkeys_are_really_delicious would be formatted “Monkeys Are Really Delicious.” I used this to get a single subcategory name without getting stomped on in the event of events being in multiple categories.

You could use it to make pretty titles from filenames too. Sky’s the limit, if it has “-” or “_” delimited words. There are also some parameters and settings to “uncap” words that shouldn’t be capitalized, like “and”, “the” and “to”. Give it a shot!
