Yes, and smartMember works reasonably well.
However, I don’t like aMember. It’s a pile of PHP files, has a very ugly UI, and the configuration of both is an ass pain. This kind of thing works really well until you have to update/change things, and then you have to remember that you changes line #126 in a config file somewhere. Not fun.
Some may disagree, but this kind of software is no fun for me.
