Don’t worry, I’m not asking when EE 2.0 is going to be released! 😉

I just saw this link (http://www.canwehaveexpressionengine2yet.com) over on the CI forums and chuckled.  I thought I’d share.  Sorry if it’s been posted before but I hadn’t seen it yet.

    :D

Anyone care to register “www.canwehavewirelesspoweryet.com” ?

(I know, there are products using the technology already, simple stuff. I’m talking about the big stuff, computers, tv’s etc)

I bookmarked the site. Going to check it daily.

    For which one?

And it would be such a sad way to find out that Abe Vigoda was dead by seeing the count of “1” in that RSS feed.

I wrote Abe a letter (I know, hard to believe), and asked him if he ever checks that site to see if he was still alive (yeah, I’m weird). He didn’t write back (makes me sad).

I for one, don’t want to live anywhere near such a contraption.

I still get asked this question by people new to laptops. “I thought it was wireless.” Sad thing, there is no irony here.

Both. Although I actually had to look up Abe (I don’t watch much TV).

The world is a better place with people like Abe Vigoda in it (even if you don’t watch TV).

It’s been wrongly reported that he’d died several times, so someone made the handy internet site. I think there’s an OS X widget as well.

Around here, Lee Tengum is “CI Lee”.  He just launched a pretty cool EE site cleverandy.  He’s pretty active within the CodeIgniter community also, I’ll be sure he know about this, and I bet you that by Monday you’ll have an RSS 😊

Also a Firefox extension, at one time. A search on the add-ons site for “Vigoda” just now turned up nothing, though.

Site still says, “Not yet 😊,” so I am making the assumption EE 2.0 isn’t out yet. :(

Boing Boing talks about the Firefox Vigoda extension you mentioned, but the links go to a dead page: http://www.boingboing.net/2006/02/24/abe-vigoda-alive-bir.html
