    Fixed the IE thing for an old client using the minimalist forum template (at least in IE7) with this:

    In theme_submission.php around line 212 I’ve removed the words “table_row” in the javascript so that you have this:

    <!--
    function showhide_options()
    {
        if (document.getElementById('optionsRowOn').style.display == "")
        {
            document.getElementById('optionsRowOn').style.display = "none";
            document.getElementById('optionsRowOff').style.display = "";
        }
        else
        {
            document.getElementById('optionsRowOn').style.display = "";
            document.getElementById('optionsRowOff').style.display = "none";
        }
    }
    -->

    Hope it works for you.

    I so hope that this theme or similar comes with the package in future as kind of a dev.theme!

    Tuittu, you’re free to download this theme and modify it however you need for your sites.

    Ok, one question. Is it “suitable” for the latest version?

    Thanks:

    Will this theme work with the EE2.x discussion forum module? If not are there plans to port it?

    Hey Nathan -

    You’ll need to run it through the update script mentioned in the user guide update notes for the Discussion Forum module.  Once you do that, though, it should work just fine.

    Ok, here’s a proposal… If I do that will you add it to the default discussion forum download package?

    Oh Please!

    Although the current “developer” theme wasn’t too bad to re-brand, the minimalist was so much easier and clean than any of the other supported themes.

    I would love to see the Minimalist theme supported by the lab.

    Well that was easy… that little theme conversion wizard did it all for me! Lisa, I’ve sent you an email with the file attached, could you perhaps update the previous blog post (http://ellislab.com/blog/entry/minimalism/) to include this and (please!) make it part of the default download package for the Discussion Forum module for EE 2.x?

    Thanks Nathan!

    I am working with the team to see what we can do here.

    Brill. Hope to see that in the next point release package then. I’m sure it would be much appreciated by the community. 😊
