I saw advertisements for a Drupal party and Wordpress party… but nothing for ExpressionEngine! We can’t have that…
We can plan this if anyone is interested! We can lock down a small bar or venue for it. Heck, we’ll even sponsor an hour of open bar if we can get some like minded companies to come by. All we’d ask is that you help come by, help spread the word, etc.
Anyone interested in participating in something like this?

You’re absolutely right! We do need to have a gathering. Thank you for suggesting it. I’m happy to tweet this and include it on the Round Up post to see if we can grab people who would want to join. There will be three of us from EllisLab at SXSW (Greg Aker, Les Camacho and myself). I’m sure we can make sure to be around to say hi.
I think Happy Cog is having a shin dig and I on Friday that we’d be committed to attending. I’m asking around to verify the date, though.

I’ll be attending as well. Would love to meet some of the community members that I have not met from previous events. I have been told that the Event that we have with Happy Cog is on the 14th. So short of that date we should be good.

I’ll be there for sure. EE gatherings have always been reliably full of the nicest people at SXSW. Looking forward to being in a room with other humans!

We’re close to locking down a venue! We’ll stick to Sunday night at 8pm since a few people have mentioned it looks good.
