It isn’t working in Firefox or IE. We don’t use Safari or Chrome in our office.

    swilla1,

You’re actually encountering a different issue. Please see my two posts in this thread; that will get you up and running again.

Thomas, are you still unable to login? I believe John Henry was able to after setting the cookie domain properly. Keep us posted.

It dosen’t work. I was able to login on another computer and though “Yeeehhaaa”. Then I went to my desktop and can’t login. No Google Chrome, no Firefox, no Safari. The antoher computer was a computer within the same household and so same IP.

Or do I have to change something?

    Thomas,
Go back to the computer you are logged in at and head for Admin > Security and Privacy > Security and Sessions

What is set for Allow multiple log-ins from a single account? If no set to yes and try the other computers again.

    Hi Thomas,

I’m still having trouble reproducing. I’ve logged into admin.php with several browsers and am able to freely switch sites using the control panel. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding the issue, and I apologize if that is the case. Are you still having issues?

If I login to admin.php with Safari everything is fine.
After I logged out, I’ll try to login to admin.php with Google Chrome, Firefox etc. and this dosen’t work.
If I’m at starbucks, at a client etc. I’m still not able to login to admin.php. It’s working just with my desktop Safari in this case. After changing password, I’m able to login at Starbucks for example. But if I’m going home and trying to login at my desktop, it’s not working. I have to change my password for evvery browser.

Within admin/cp everything is working fine. So no problem to switching sites. It’s login-troubles with different browsers.

    Thomas,

Out of curiosity. Can you do some of your testing with the login username and password you assigned us.

Do you change anything last week or so? Today I tried to login and all browsers + another computer + my iPhone did work well.

    Thomas,

the only change I made was on the 22nd of November which is referenced in this thread.

Is everything still running ok for you? I’ll close out this thread if you can confirm that for us please?

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for you patience with this. I just logged in and out from FF, Chrome and IE8 on my machine without issue with the credentials you gave us. I don’t believe there have been any other changes.

Is everything still working on your end?
