Greg—HUGE interest here as well. Would be happy to participate in the beta—we have a few different projects (based around weekly or monthly print publications) that could really use Facebook Connect in an Expression Engine-driven site. Thanks!

Very interested in this as well, client would love this on a project we’re building in January.
Greg, do you think a public beta will be out in early to mid January or is that wishful thinking at this point?

I hate to interrupt/hijack this thread (please pardon), but we actually have an extension already built that uses RPX to facilitate the transaction. I didn’t build it myself so I’m short on details. If there is interest it would be great to know how much exactly (we were planning to port it to 2.0 before releasing it).
It’s probably in beta status and we have no docs. Again, gauging interest level would be helpful. Please PM me or contact me through our site (preferred).
Someone let me know if I should just start my own thread too. 😉

+1 for interest.
I have various degrees of (client) need for Facebook Connect (and Twitter OAuth) integration. I’d be willing to help, test or whatever else may be needed.

same!

+1—very interested in getting Facebook integration worked into my own site and at least one client site. Need this ASAP.

Wow that’s cool. I can’t wait for the implementation. Keep up the good work!

Let me know when this is ready.

It’s basically ready. What’s not working is the damn Paypal/Simple Commerce integration. Oh the irony.
Send me an email for now: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). What we’ll do is, for the first 10 people, I’ll set the price at 1/4 the normal price ($25) and issue Paypal invoices. Only ten will be sold until proper launch and we’ll work out any bugs together over the holidays. 😊 Sound good?
