Hey all, okay, here is the link to get it. If your return from Paypal doesn’t net you the file download, please email me directly: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

You can go here for information, instructions, etc:
    http://www.shotwellcompany.com/addons/rpxee

Login using OpenID on the right side of the page. Then click the Buy Now button and once I see the paypal notification I’ll send you the files.

We’re still working on finalizing the Paypal integration, hence the need to email it to you.

    Hi Tyler,

Congratulations on your launch! This is great. We’re also launching fabEE shortly. More details are here: http://fab-ee.com/blog/fabee-is-ready/

    Cheers

Hi Greg, so is fab-ee going to be first party? You work for Ellislab.

Looks like the two systems work very differently. I see that fabEE is going to provide a LOT of features that one would be looking at for full on integration of an EE system with Facebook. That’s very cool and I wish RPXee did the same.

Alas, ours is a moat between OpenID providers (Yahoo, gMail, Facebook, Twitter, etc) and an EE membership account. Login in once using your favourite OpenID provider and get an EE account free. 😊 Ours too still has some refinements in the worx.

    Hi Tyler,

No, fabEE is not First Party, it is a personal enterprise. Unfortunately this thread was started before I started work here so it does seem confusing 😊

Everything could be refined I think but what’s really good is that there are now options for using whatever suits individual requirements.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Just wondering when Fab-ee will be EE2.0 ready? Is it even planned or has it just been made for 1.X?

    Thanks

RPXee is freak’n awesome! I was searching for something like this only yesterday then saw it on devot-ee (what happened to my rss feed?). I am so happy I could cry.

We have Facebook Connect partially working on http://www.greatnonprofits.org.

You can login with your Facebook login.

However, it required us to hack EE core.  And that will make upgrading to EE 2.0 difficult.

Hey all, we’ve made some upgrades to RPXee, including a name change. It’s now Socialee. Everyone agree that’s a better name?

More importantly, we’ve added the features that we’ve been asked for (Adam George, this should make you quite happy):
    - full RPX Plus support
    - social publishing/commenting
    - profile data autofill
    - account mapping (allows multiple OpenID providers to be used for a single account)

Thanks to all those who helped us get through the RPXee beta!

    -Tyler
