JCOGS OTP Pro - SMS (Twilio)

Companion add-on for JCOGS OTP Pro that adds a new delivery method: SMS via Twilio.

Deliver JCOGS OTP Pro verification payloads (typically one-time codes) to members by text message, using a nominated ExpressionEngine Member Field as the phone number source.

Key features

• Adds the SMS (Twilio) delivery provider inside JCOGS OTP Pro (identifier: sms_twilio).
• Reads the recipient number from a selected Member Field (recommended format: E.164, e.g. +447700900123).
• Availability-aware: hides SMS for members without a valid phone number.
• Optional dry-run mode for OTP Pro’s Provider Test screen (useful while Twilio compliance is pending).

Requirements

• PHP 8.2+
• ExpressionEngine 6.4.18+ (EE7 compatible)
• JCOGS OTP Pro 2.0.0+
• Twilio account permitted to send SMS in your target region(s)
• An SMS-capable Twilio sender number (E.164)

Notes

Twilio may require additional regulatory/compliance setup (for example A2P/10DLC registration or a “regulatory bundle”) before SMS sending is permitted on your account.
