EE7 Bulk editing has never worked??
How Do I?
At least for me anyway :-(
We started a project on EE7.4.x, now on EE7.5.10, but never has the bulk edit functionality in the channel entries manager worked – even on 2 or 3 entries, where all we want is to change the status.
If we add a field, change the value, and hit save, eventually the save button will revert to its previous state and nothing changes. Even when we add editable fields, then attempt to collapse them, the whole modal just disappears!
Am I missing something painfully obvious?
Sounds like you are doing it right. Are there complicated fields or fieldtypes (or fields with lots of data/content?)
Might be worth a support ticket.
If the modal closes unexpectedly, it could be due to a JavaScript conflict or an issue with how the modal is being initialized
