Password Reset template error

Hi All, I’m stuck with the official password reset template code. If I add the sample code to my page it drops the error below (The existing username and/or password you submitted are not valid). The page the code is visible only for the logged in user. Any idea?

Ah, we need to tighten up the documentation- I see why it’s confusing.

So that form goes along with the ‘forgotten password form’- it’s for logged out people who forgot their password and need to reset it. You should be coming into it from a link with a token in it giving you permission to reset the password.

For a logged in user who wants to change their existing password, try the edit profile form, that should do the trick.

yes, I also encountered this form during the new account registration process
