Hello EE community,
We took on a client who uses EE some time ago. When logging into admin, we get the following message:
An unexpected error occurred attempting to download the current ExpressionEngine version number. Please visit your Download Account to verify you are on the current version. If this error persists, please contact your system administrator
So we contacted the original Agency who set the website up. They said just create an account and sign in and it will be fine. Except it isn’t and we still get the message.
Interestingly, when you click Download ACcount, it takes you to https://store.ellislab.com/manage/ , but of course the license was purchased by the original design agency.
What is our next step?
