Deleting an entry that doesn't exist

How Do I?

I have an interesting problem I hope someone can help me with.

I imported a bunch of entries from our old Drupal site into our new ExpressionEngine site. It turned out that we don’t really need some of these entries anymore, so I selected them all in the control panel and deleted them. All well and good.

Later, I found another entry that had a link to one of these entries that I had deleted. The link works. It displays the entry, even though the entry isn’t supposed to be there. Yet, the entry doesn’t appear in the control panel, so I don’t know how to delete this entry that doesn’t exist.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

L.

I found a solution, as always, minutes after posting this question.

I changed the status of the phantom entries to Closed. I then was able to filter the content list for closed entries, and there they were, available for deletion.

I hope.
