Ok, so for the first time, I’ve been approached about a multilingual website.
While my research returns some interesting conflicting results, I’m wondering if anyone in the EE community support has had any success building a multilingual site with EE.
The conflicts seem to be which way to handle the workflow. MSM has been mentioned as well as a few plugins all of which is basically writing duplicate content for each language.
While I understand this might be the best way to translate, are there any known forms of automatically transposing content for several different languages?
Thanks for any info!

Are you going to leave Grandma’s fate up to an automated process? 😉
I’m currently supporting a site that presents in 12 languages.
My experience with multilingual sites is that you should price as if you were building a site for each lingual version.
While it might seem that the shared logic & design would mean all sites past the first one would be easier to implement, the reality is that the added logic for language switching and ensuring it displays well in all languages (especially if any of them are RTL) quickly obliterates any savings.
