Nitpicking, I realize, but I’m surprised to see that several interface elements appear pixelated on a hiDPI screen (like the triangles indicating if a drop-down is open or not, the warning icon next to “Software Unregistered”, etc).
Making a note of it, more than anything.
Thanks for all your work, EL team!
Can you supply a screen shot? A majority of the elements are a rendered pixel font, and thus should not appear blurry.
The drop down triangles, are in fact the only “images” in the CP, aside from the ee logo. And internally we’ve seen them as crisp and not blurry, so a screen would help.
Thanks.
The arrows I believe are using 72 dpi pngs at the moment, but the banner alert and other glyphs should be font-based so they should be resolution independent; what browser are you using? And definitely let us know when you encounter these. Thanks!
[Edit: And that’s what I get for leaving the browser open too long before replying. Never mind me!]
Thanks Kevin,
Those arrows should have @2x fallbacks, I’ll have to make sure that didn’t get stripped.
The triangle is not the best of the best in the font I’m using, so it’s not great, but it’s as expected. I want to eventually replace the font with a custom one, but that is a ways off.
