Strange CP Issue (top navigation links)
How Do I?
Hi all. I haven’t used EE in years, but I’ve come back to it. I installed, and now I have a very strange problem.
In the control panel (admin.php), all the top links (except the home button) don’t work. They all link to the same link… which appears to be the main site link I’m already on.They are like this: “admin.php?/cp/homepage&S=69b3b44c1f91206a22c2dd7f8fd63cf7#”
All the links have a #, no others on the CP do, and they work as they should (well, since I can’t add any items, all channels are empty). I’m not sure what caused this, or how to fix it? I can’t go to the Admin link, or any others! So I can’t config anything at all. I did a fresh re-install to see if that helped, with no luck. Help, please!
Those links are all JavaScript triggers that pop up drop-down menus when you click on them, so the href being the same is not a problem. It sounds like the JavaScript to make them work is breaking for some reason. I’d suggest using developer tools in your browser and checking the console for errors.
