MSM: Parent Home Page showing on Child Home Page

I am running MSM with one parent and one child site. Despite having created a home page for the child site, the child site’s home page displays the parent site home page content (without styling).

The index.php and admin.php have been populated correctly. I don’t really have any relevant code to show, but I would really appreciate some help on this.
