Template_id and template_group_id

That’s not a bad idea, but for now you could use and modify this plugin I made for a StackExchange user to access Template metadata within a template.

We already have {template_edit_date}. {template_id} and {template_group_id} could complete the team and make the debug easier. Together with something telling us if the page is being cached.

Thanks for the feedback, Robson. On caching, that information is already available in the Template Debugging log.

Sometimes, the template debugging log is too much, @Derek. Sometimes, something like this is enough.

Indeed it is a lot of detail, and we’ve some ideas for improvements. A find on the page for “cache” could get you that information rather quickly for now though.
