I am having this same probem. I have: Cleared my browser cache, Cleared my EE cache Check my .htacess file added and the removed the pipe character from the CI input.php file
I have looked at this thread post which seems to be the fix for most people: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/16909 However the lines in question have already been updated to their ‘fix’ in the version of EE I am using.
The only time I get this error is when I am creating a new channel field. I have recreated the channel group, field group, and channel field itself with no luck. The error occured when i went from a local enviroment to a dev enviroment. When the users say “clear your cookies” do they mean browser cookies or is there some special area of EE I need to clear too?
