Generate password-protected links for each Member

I’ve built a few ExpressionEngine sites, but none using the Member functionality. I have a client that is requesting the ability to have individual password-protected pages that are specific to Members. In other words, I guess I’d want to create an entry, be able to give it a custom URL (with the Pages module?) and then require that the page require authentication for a chosen member.

I’ve Googled and searched the forums here, but I haven’t run across a result that outlines anything very similar to this. Can anyone point me in the right conceptual direction on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
