Temporarily prevent anyone but super admin logging in.

The scenario I have it that I’ve pulled down a copy of the live site (files & database) to my dev machine.

While I’m making updates, I want to temporarily prevent any of the other content contributors from logging into the control panel and making changes. Otherwise any new posts they make will be overwritten when I update.

Is there a simple way to disable anyone but SuperAdmin from logging in?
