ajax driven website with EE2

Hi there

We are just in the progress of choosing a new CMS for our website. Our new website will be 100% ajax driven, so that we can offer a persistent audio player for our customers (I am working for a radio station).

Does anyone here have experience with setting up an huge ajax driven website with EE?
