Local Server: Base URL Missing randomly

Recently, I did a local install of Expressionengine for testing (wamp specifically).

When I call things like {auto_path} for search results, or guide a page using navEE, or use some older plugins EE drops the base url for my site. For example, if my site is sitename/news/article, it would then just send it to /news/article. I don’t know if this is wamp, or newer versions of EE (2.6.1) problem.

Anyone have any idea to fix this issue?
