here is my code:

{exp:channel:entries channel="member_info" dynamic="no" status="PendingPay" url_title="{segment_3}"}

{title}

{url_title}

{mem_first_name}

{if no_results}ERROR: invalid submission {segment_3}{/if}

{/exp:channel:entries}

i get the “no results” message.

-no typos in channel name or custom status name -{segment_3} value displays fine in the “if no results” message -{segment_3} is a correct url_title - if i put the value directly into the url_title=”…” it works

-if i remove the url_title and dynamic = no –> that works BUT if you remove the segment_3 value or make it an invalid value (no url_title matches it) –the results show ALL channel entries

*random note - the url_title is exactly the same as the title

I’m not sure what dumb thing I might be doing or not doing…

Any ideas?

Are you sure that the entry you are expecting to show has a status of PendingPay? and that it is in the “member_info” channel?

Thank you for the reply.

Yes I’m 100% sure.

Anyone have any ideas? I might be wrong - seems a lot of changes going on here - but I thought there was some official EE tech support that helped with this stuff…?

What’s your use case here? Why the dynamic=”no”?

Try removing that and the segment call, and add limit=”1” - what happens?

I’m a noob, but I’m working with something that requires the exact segment_3 variable. Mine works fine.

But I have ran into problem with the .htaccess with the trailing slash? could that be your issue too?

Here is my .htaccess line that solved my issue with the segments,

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]
