Hi All,

Forklift data source: internal fleet management system (can be exported into various formats)

We currently have an online showroom to display forklift trucks for sale. A large portion of my working day is being used up by manually entering the data into the EE2 CMS.

Normally I export the content from fleet management system into a spreadsheet document and manually enter this information into the CMS.

Is there a plugin to import data to the CMS (e.g. CSV) from a spreadsheet file into CHANNELS and their CHANNEL FIELDS?

I’ve attached an image to give you an idea of what I mean.

Thanks in advance,

R1ckym

I’ve used DataGrab with pretty great results. It requires putting the file on the server first though (via FTP, etc.), but allows you to sync each column with the channel fields.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I have passed this information on to our developers and hopefully we can use this tool. Very much appreciated the help.

If there is any alternative plug in’s please let me know.

Thanks.
