Hello everyone,

I would like to add a manually add a row (with two elements: id and number) to a table titled exp_events in my database. I want to perform this from one of my template pages.

I am not very familiar with php or MySQL commands, and I realize this should be simple, but how do I write the code to do this? I figured asking here would save me some trial-and-error headache.

I am using EE 2.2.2.
