Track failed login attempts?

Does ExpressionEngine offer any way for admins to track failed login attempts for members? Do failed login attempts get logged someplace or can they be emailed or something like that?

Hi mindshare,
It does not by default though this could easily be done with an extension. You would probably want to use the member_member_login_start extension hook. Shall I move this thread to the Development & Programming thread for you?
