Tweet Button URL Probs

Hi there, I wanted to get the Tweet button set up on my entry pages. I’ve been using the shortntweet addon but, I would like to also get the standard Tweet button working so I can decide if I want to use either/or. I’ve been having problems getting a valid url working.

The default url it spits out from http://twitter.com/about/resources/tweetbutton doesn’t work for me (http://twitter.com/share). So I tried to use:

<a href="http://{comment_url_title_auto_path}" class="twitter-share-button">Tweet</a>
[removed][removed]

But once the Tweet button is clicked it gives me the same message in the Twitter pop up window “URL required ‘url’ parameter does not contain a valid URL.”

I also tried to append the url with a query string as one of the examples at the bottom of this page has

http://dev.twitter.com/pages/tweet_button#Examples

but that also didn’t work for me. Maybe I constructed it wrong, I’m not sure what direction I need to take.

Any suggestions?
