Blog post auto tweet

I have a requirement for a client where they want to have the facility to tweet a blog post url as soon as it’s published from EE.. This is from the cpanel not a saef. I kind of have an idea as to how it could work but wondered if anyone had any ideas for what the best approach would be?

Hmm maybe an accessory so that after you save the entry you can simply scroll down the page, choose the template group/url title and submit it to bit.ly or something and allow a bit of text to be entered and then the accessory can tweet it to the specified account. I dunno though. Feels like there should be a better solution!
The client tells me a wordpress plugin does this but i can’t find it.
