Redirect to current page in Control Panel

How do i do a Redirect to the current page i’m in in the Control Panel?
Using the redirect function? What do i pass as parameter? redirect()

because redirect replaces the “&” with “&” that won’t work.
but then again, a simple header() doesn’t work either for some odd reason.
$location = site_url('system') .'/'. $this->base;
header('Location: '. $location);
