MD Live Search No search results displaying

I’m using the MD Live Search extension, and I can’t get it to display any search results, thought I know there should be results for the search terms.

The site displays on http://www.site.com/index.php while the Control Panel is in http://www.site.com/index.php/ee/esystem/ and I’m using Structure… could these factors affect it?
