in IE my freeform gets cleared when returning to page after error screen.

in IE my form gets cleared when returning to page after error screen. (required fields or email validation)

how can this be avoided. I tested in FF and Safari and the contents of the form remain after I return to the form after viewing the error screen.

any advice?
