Need help to troubleshoot a module problem.

Hi I am having problems troubleshooting an extension that has stopped working properly.
It is the geosearch module from Natural Logic. I have already emailed the developer for help but he has not yet replied and my client is getting worried!
Can someone please talk me through the steps I need to troubleshoot the problem.

I am just looking for some general guidance of things to check that might have caused the extension to stop working.
