The team at Booyant, Inc are very pleased to announce NavEE - a new, easy to use, easy to integration Navigation Module for EE2.0. We are now looking for BETA testers to kick the tires a bit, give us some feedback and get a free version of the Module. You can read all the documentation and sign up here:

http://booyant.com/navee

Our goal with NavEE was to take the typically painful task of managing navigation, and make it simple and (dare we say) enjoyable. Because NavEE is not directly tied to your content, you can easily build any kind of navigation you like, without limitation.

Features - Manage multiple navigations - Drag & drop sorting of navigation items - Automatically detect current page and apply “selected” class - Regular Expression support for advanced dynamic styling - Easily create sub-sections of navigations (for side navs, etc) - Dynamically created breadcrumbs - Use NavEE standard HTML (nested lists) or create Custom HTML - MSM ready

Over the next week or so we are going to be gathering names and emails of BETA testers and plan to deliver the BETA code in the week before EECI.

We’re really proud of this one, and hope you all enjoy it!

Looks like a very helpful module, but I really don’t like how it uses it’s own styling for the lists. I’d prefer if it used CP styles already available. It’ll look native, and it’s one less style sheet to load.

Hey litzinger!

Thank you so much for the feedback. We gave it a lot of thought and found that in order to make the UI as delightful and painless as possible for Navigation management, we had the best results using our own theme. We have plans to release alternate themes for NavEE, one of which will probably look just like the native styles!

Thanks again!

Hey trenchard!

Would you mind shooting a note to navee.beta [at] booyant [dot] com? We are just keeping a list of folks there, and will be sending out the BETA packages for the last week in May!

Cheers,

Michael Witwicki
