EE2: SAEF Simple Upload Field

Hello

I feel the frontend file upload is too complicated for general users (I love it though). All I really need are 2 simple upload fields that you usually see in web forms without the EE dynamic file manager appearing.

I saw this module:

Looks like it isn’t EE2 compatible though :/ (update: I contacted Solspace and they confirmed that it could be months before they get to upgrade for EE2).

So I’m wondering if there are any other options available to me. My whole project centers around photo uploads via frontend. I’m happy to pay for a solution/module etc.
