Luckily I’m still building this site locally! I just updated my local 1.6.8 site to 1.6.9 and I get this error…

Error

The following tag has a syntax error:

{exp:trunchtml}

Please correct the syntax in your template.

Any ideas why the update would mess this plugin up? If the plugin author reads this, any chance for an update soon? Thanks!

I’m an idiot, after the upgrade I never transfered over my extension files. Didn’t realize until I noticed my FreeForm form was throwing the same error. All fixed now!

You’re not the only one! 😉 Thanks for following up with the answer.

Many have sailed in that boat.

I have drowned myself in the same situation each and every time I migrate a website through different platforms and find myself always forgetting the obvious. Plugins are read via directory, whereas extensions are actually registered in the database for their functionality.

Oh when will I ever learn.
