The Recent Entries accessory does what it says on the tin - lets you navigate directly to the edit pages for the content you most recently updated.

Download and more info

Hopefully this will be my first EE2 addon of many! Any comments/suggestions welcome, including for the site, which is also brand spanking new.

I added the folder to my /system/expressionengine/third_party folder, but don’t “see” it in the accessories list.

Update: In an install with no additional accessories, I “see” the add-on.

Simple Tags (2.0) This widget enables autosuggest/-complete for Simple Tags tag-fields on the Publish form

This is the only non-standard accessory I have.

How bizarre. Are you using the 20100215 build? I’ve tested it on a couple of installations, but not with older builds. Do you have any other accessories installed, and were they detected correctly?

Edit: I’ll install that and see if there is a conflict somewhere. I can’t see why there would be.

I can’t find the Simple Tags accessory anywhere - got a link?

Silenz is the author. He built this for the pre-public beta.

Ah okay. If disabling/removing the Simple Tags accessory fixes things then I’m afraid my hands are tied until I can test it myself. Multiple third party accessories are detected correctly (including this one) on the installations I’ve used for testing.

Still loving this, but beseech (beg?) you to consider two minor modifications to your css.

You inherit (implicitly) from the EE themes, which works for them, but not for other themes which folks will develop over time (for instance, my Bloodred theme). I have just finished a package of eight CP themes (varied colors) for imminent release: I will need to override your CSS in most cases.

I experimented to see if I could come up with a single css file which works well with all of them. I believe I have and am submitting it to you by private message. I have also attached a screenshot of the Default theme and my own Bloodred theme.

Whatever you decide, thanks again for your work!

Thanks for the comments and for going out of your way to provide that alternative CSS. Support for different themes, particularly those with lighter background colours, is definitely something I want to improve on in the future. My hands are tied atm (with an addon that does automatically reflect the user’s chosen CP style 😛) but an update shouldn’t be too far off.

A 1.1 update is now available. The default style has been tweaked slightly, a custom style has been added for users on the corporate theme and support for custom themes has been added too.
