Can't Search WYSIWYG Fields

Hi,

I’m running ExpressionEngine 1.6.8, with LG TinyMCE 1.3.3. It seems I am unable to search WYSIWYG fields. If I search for a word within the title of a weblog entry, the results come up fine. However, if I search for a word within a custom field, I get zero results. Below is my search tag.

{exp:search:advanced_form weblog="st_content_pages|st_home_pages" result_page="site/search_results" search_in=“everywhere” show_expired_entries="yes" status="open|closed|hidden" show_future_entries="yes" id="1231" name="1231"}

Most of these parameters aren’t needed, I just put them in to narrow down possibilities. All the custom fields are set as being searchable, so it’s not that. Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Jock, you may want to post your search results template.

The relevant section of the search results template is below.

{exp:search:search_results}
<h1>{title}</h1>
{excerpt}
<a href="http://{page_url}">View page</a>
{/exp:search:search_results}

I don’t believe this is the problem though, because this template isn’t even presented when you search for words in a custom field; you just get an ExpressionEngine error screen saying no results were found, with a link to return to the previous page.

After all this time, I just noticed that search_in=“everywhere” had the wrong kind of quote characters - obviously a bad copy and paste. All fixed.
