I have multiple templates that will be using the same field groups and template snippits from a sidebar template group, so I opted to use Gypsy to have field groups associated to the multiple pages that will be embedding the sidebar templates.

Let’s say I have a FAQ page that needs to embed the sidebar template, it would look like:

{embed="sidebar/help"}

Then in the help template, I want it to have scope of the FF matrix I used Gypsy to associate to the multiple pages calling into the reusable sidebar items(such as FAQ page).

It looks like the sidebar templates will not have scope of the field groups. Can I pass an FF Matrix through like that? It doesn’t look like it will work.

{embed="sidebar/help" help_topics={embed:help_topics}}
