Anyone know why the codeigniter cart class isn’t included in EE 2.0?

I also notice that the simple commerce module isn’t EE2’ed yet. Is the cart class going to be included once ellislabs have converted the simple commerce module to use it?

The SCM is not only converted to EE2, but gained recurring subscriptions.

SCM docs

As far as the cart class, you could post a feature request to have it included.

Ha! I only glanced at the sauce code to make that assumption and on second look the one bit of code i looked at has this comment above it:

// @todo: this whole big thing needs to be AR'ed and modelled...

Silly me.

As for the cart class, i just thought the whole kit and kaboodle of codeigniter would be included, i didn’t think anything at all would be omitted. Is there anything else from codeigniter that isn’t included in EE2?

I wont bother with a feature request, i can drop it in easily enough, i just thought you would use the cart class in the simple commerce module.
