duplicate URI in Structure

I’m creating an entry to be listed, somehow maybe duplicated it, and now in Structure Page URL textbox I’m forced to have the name with “-1” appended which I can’t have. I have deleted the item and started again but even though I can name the item as I want for Title and URL Title (which is of course automated), I am still stuck with the “-1” appendage. Thanks for any help.
Hi Brian,
I’m pretty sure when you delete a page from the Structure page that all it really does is closes the status option on that entry so if you instead click on the Edit button and find that entry you will probably see that it is closed. Deleting that entry should hopefully enable you to do what you need.

Yep, what Mark said. Also, make sure you have the latest version there was a bug squashed quite a while ago to get rid of those duplicates.
